South Australia expands Graduate List to VET sector

Immigration SA has expanded the South Australian Graduate List requirements to include Vocational, Education and Training (VET) Graduates from South Australia following discussions with the South Australian branch of the Migration Institute of Australia.

South Australian VET graduates will need to meet the following criterion in order to be eligible for a state nominated visa.

• Currently working for 12 months or more in their nominated or closely related occupation in South Australia (minimum 20 hours per week; OR
• Currently working for 6 months or more in their nominated or closely related occupation in a country region of South Australia (minimum 20 hours per week). The country region must be outside of Greater Adelaide.

Applicants must either be employed or residing in an area outside of Greater Adelaide in order to be eligible, which includes all postcodes outside of Adelaide and the Adelaide Hills.
